How It Works:

• Untreated water flows into the tank and through an airspace of injected air. This air mixes with water to oxidize ferrous (dissolved) iron and manganese.
• The media inside the Air Over Water Filter enhances the oxidation process and acts as a filter media to trap and eliminate staining and eliminate ferric (non-dissolved) iron and manganese.
• Clean water free of iron and manganese enters your home, eliminating staining and preserving your plumbing and appliances.
• Air Over Water filter periodically backwashes the media and injects fresh air into the tank. This process keeps the media bed clean and exposes more of the media for use, making for more efficient operation and extended lifespan.
