How It Works:

• Untreated water flows through the carbon media addressing the chlorine / chloramine in the water. Resins soften water by reducing calcium and magnesium in water.
• Water then passes through the first Vortech™ plate and through the softening resin.
• TechSoft media softens water by reducing calcium, magnesium and certain metals in the water.
• Conditioned water flows effectively through the Vortech™ plate and enters your home, providing better water, cleaner laundry, softer skin, easier cleaning, and savings on cleaning products and premature appliance replacements.
• When the softening resin is ready to be cleaned and recharged, the system uses a brine (salt or potassium) solution accompanied by the Vortech™ plate to efficiently lift and clean the resin while providing significant salt and water savings.
